🥇 How will 3 Outermost Regions’ centers become Horizon Europe champions at the forefront of Ocean and Marine sciences & innovation ?
This is the promising journey of REMORA, a collaborative project funded by the Horizon Europe “Pathways to Synergies” call !
🚀Yesterday marked the kickoff meeting of our REMORA project aimed at bringing three centers from the Outermost regions – out of isolation and turn them into EU champions in Ocean/Marine research and innovation.

🌟 How will we do that ?
REMORA relies on a step-by-step pathway :
1-Developing an “Excellence strategy” to empower researchers, staff members and directors with the best-uptodate Research & Innovation practices, Horizon Europe intelligence and strategic uses of funds
2-Building and implementing a joint internationalization roadmap which brings together the expertise from CITEB, OOM & OKEANOS and focuses on R&I niches with added value for EU partners
3-Systematizing the lessons learnt to turn other R&I organizations and adapt regional policies to increase synergies between structural &c ompetitive funds
